My name is Sachiko, a mother of two. Like many of you, I’ve watched the heartbreaking videos from Gaza children crying, mothers grieving, families torn apart. I couldn’t just scroll past. I may not be rich, but I believe doing something is always better than doing nothing.
Today, I’m reaching out for Baby Salma Kamal Quwider, just 3 months old. Imagine the pain she is suffering right now a little baby who should only know warmth, safety, and love. We can save her. And we should do our very best to save her.
Every child in Gaza is our child. Every mother is our mother. They deserve the same safety, love, and chance at life that we give our own families.
That’s why I’ve started this campaign to help, even in small ways. Imagine if we each gave up one Starbucks coffee or one McDonald’s meal a week. That small sacrifice could save a life.
We cannot save everyone. But together, we can save someone. And for that person for Baby Salma, for her mother, for her family it means everything.
Let’s not just watch with empathy from the other side. Let’s act. Let’s reach out our hands. Because if it were us, we’d pray for the world to do the same.
